I think I’ll skip day 7 (7Jun’13)

“Let’s skip today” I thought this morning…

I knew the chances of getting out for a run today were, unlike me, very slim. NotMuchOfaSleeper (age 2) is too big really for her pushchair now, and she doesn’t sleep during the day anyway, so although we went to the park… Aaaah… You don’t want to know all this… On to the exciting bit.

Oh, sorry, it appears there is no exciting bit.

Just this bit…

I found my old skipping rope (one of those speedy ones made from a washing line or something that really wreck your legs if you mess up) and decided to do 100 consecutive skips as quick as I could….

…which became just wanting to do a hundred consecutive skips without being rubbish.

Attempt 1: 25 (not bad)
Attempt2: 24 (ok… Consistent at least)
Attempt3: 18 (oops getting worse)
Attempt4: 6 (what the…?)
Attempt5: 33 (at least I’m getting a good workout!)
Attempt6: 26 (oh come on!!)
Attempt7: 100 (I don’t know where that one was hiding but it was well needed – I’m shattered now!)

While I was recovering, I wrote Juneathon, using the skipping rope…

Which obviously worked really well, I think you’ll agree.

Very impressive but extrememly lethal-looking. I’ll stick to my imaginary one 🙂

Brilliant! I agree with abradypus, imaginery one is good.. If I used a real one, I would end up flat on my face, no doubt
